The King chose his family. Welcome Lorenzo to Harlem
The Casati family joins
Harlem Kitesurfing, Lieuwe Boards & Appletree Surfboards
The King chose his family.
In real life, you don't get to choose your family.
Unless.. you are the King.
After a long period of (blind) testing, careful consideration and many conversations, King of the Air '22 winner Lorenzo Casati and his brother Leonardo Casati announce today at 12.00 CET that they have chosen Harlem Kitesurfing, Lieuwe Boards and Appletree Surfboards as their mission support team.
The Casati's are going all in to win the game. Unhindered by sponsor contracts and politics, they have not only set out to find the best kite equipment on the planet, but they are looking for true support with their plans. So what does this mean? Direct contact with engineers that really listen to their feedback, dedication to supporting them on their mission, and a team that not only feels like family, but has their backs like one too.
They found the answer in the Netherlands, where three independent companies have been pushing, pioneering and focusing on what they do best: making high performance kites (Harlem), twin-tips (Lieuwe) and surfboards (Appletree).
"When I tried the gear, I knew that this would be the way to go and after feeling the support of the team I was sold. I'm more than ready to make the impossible possible with my new family”, shared Lorenzo Casati.
Powered by the latest high-performance innovations from the three brands, Lorenzo is ready to reclaim the crown at the biggest Big Air battle of the year, Red Bull King of the Air 2023, followed by a busy schedule of podium quests around the world in the Big Air twin-tip, strapless wave and freestyle disciplines.
