It’s pretty sick that sage was one of few who made a series of his Olympic road. and to top off he ended up winning
-
I stopped doing competitions almost 20 years ago for a reason. This is just stupid shit, insane what those guys are pulling of

I cannot get over how much I #adore, #love and #admire this #sport and those who are part of it. Long live #Snowboarding!
-
Gotta say, this series is such an inspiration to a young snowboarder. Sage, you embody all the good that there is in snowboarding and your work to reinvent the image of snowboarding is incredible. Thank you so much.
Same here man. Guys like him and Travis Rice are just pushing the sport further and its so inspiring to watch. I remember watching The Art of FLIGHT and just thinking: I wanna be that good when I snowboard
I'm getting better the 720 is so dang hard to land not to mention mixing a grab but he truly is a inspiration he is inspiring me to push harder i live in park city Utah I'm going to break ridge soon so yeah think I'll try a backflip so what if i get hurt aren't you supposed to get hurt in sports anyway ok I'm going to snowboard bye bye the way I'm 18

What is the ecological debt of all these structures, all these equipments, all these economic and media promotion ? This type of sportsmen claim to love nature, claim to be simple peoples wanting to have fun with friends. But the reality is quite different. They are not philosophers loving nature, just fierce competitors telling a story that hundreds of snowboarders competing before them have made themselves believe. All this to satisfy primitive instincts. The art of destroying nature in complete unconsciousness and hypocrisy.

song?
-
fuck tripples with mute grabs! :D
-
MUTE grabs are gonna go down ofc
-

-

-
someone should give me the name to the song, please
-
"they're super not down with not doing triples i found out" hahahhh
-
Nothing but love, watching this genuinely gave me an ear-to-ear smile. Sickest 360 turn I've ever seen! As far as I'm concerned Mr. Kotsenburg is right up there with Nicholas Müller as my favourite snowboarders.
-
I just love watching you Sage! :) Congrats for winning gold in the olympics! Hoping to see you in person someday! :)
-
what song at 6:30?
Slow down -dj yellow claw
-
Sage threw in the 360 turn too haha love that ish. Insane how mechanical you have to be in order to win, style is what boarding is about.
-
What's the background music??
-
Watched every jump like five or six times...
-
Thank you Sage and Halldor, for keeping snowboarding alive, and for keeping it steezy! It's riders like you two that make snowboarding inspiring and stylish!
-
You fellaz always be KILLIN' the Game!
-
This is why everyone in the snowboarding industry loves riders like these. Shaun White would never do anything like this. No goofying around riding with homies and loving snowboarding. Just in it for the comps and sponsors. No sponsors or comps = no snowboarding for shaun
Not sure why people randomly throw white under the bus. You know, the guy who is the most accomplished snowboarder ever. The guy who got a prefect score in halfpipe. The guy who busted his azz off for years by continuously evolving with the sport and absolutely destroying the older generation. Now it's the new skools time. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on anyone. I love that different riders have different style, it's what makes snowboarding so interesting obviously. Lobster flip is by far my favorite trick FYI. Did anyone see Michael Jordan play street ball downtown Chicago? Nope. There is a difference between someone winning one contest and being the most accomplished snowboarder ever, just sayin. Do you even know what it takes to win 2 Olympic golds in a row? Didn't think so.
opinions are opinions. I agree with yours too man
matt schumacher Dont know how much those gold medals are worth when you hate what you do and constantly on the edge of mental breakdown, while a team of corporate coaches is shoving 20 pills a day down your throat and remind you every second that you HAVE TO WIN, have to win, have to win
Shaun White is one of the very few pro snowboarders nowadays to have made it to the top by himself without much financial help from his parents who were poor from the beginning. Most pros nowadays like Sage, Mcmorris, etc... have wealthy parents fund their lifestyle so I don't get your hate on Shaun White for being competitive.
-
coolest series out
-
What's the background music?
-
No I'm pretty sure that was Stale Sanbech...I could just see myself in the background during the Big Air Practice.
-
that method.
-
Those boots are horrid
-
Fuck triplecorks...there is a point where too much spinning looks bad. It is all about style and I got to hand it to Halldor Helgason for his huge method.
-
Not really loving the distorted audio, otherwhise loving it!
-
hell yeah I'm in THE HOLY CRAIL!
was that you saying "holy crail, holy crail"
-
sage is the homie
-
Sage is one of the last REAL snowboarders. Love him because he's not a robot
don't forget about Halldor!
wtf is a "real" snowboarder? and what do you mean by robots?
he means he does what he wants to do, and the sponsors can't control him like a "robot"
plenty of them out there they just get footage instead of compete. Both are sick
