Wenn ihr von Profiltiefe redet, meint ihr dann eigentlich Profildicke?

Bei Wings reden wir über Profiltiefe und bei Foils über Profildicke

  4. julosurfer8989

is it also suited for smaller riders/170cm/?I ask it due to bigger wingspan

    1. gleiten.tv

6qm is the max for a good handling with 170cm

    It's not a kite, it's a wing..

Used my strike v2 5.5 for the first time earlier this week and I agree with everything said in this review :) - although I must try that 7psi trick to see if it helps the pumping.

Is the "lack of windows" not a problem? Especially in in-land lakes with possible boat traffic.

    2. ashleydavis614

@raghuram2815 no not at all, windows are pretty useless on most wings. Just lift the wing to have a look before making a manoeuvre. Which I do whether a wing has windows or not.

    3. raghuram2815

@ashleydavis614 how about when learning? We can't stay upwind, so we get dragged downwind. We can't lift the Wing up at that time, coz you're trying to go upwind and keep the power in the wind. Did you not face that situation while you were learning?

    4. Velocidrone

@raghuram2815 no, because lifting a wing to take a look literally takes 1 second, all you do is slow down a little while having a look, then put the wing back and carry on upwind. Wing windows give you a very very restricted view, so in most cases you have to lift the wing anyway to see properly. Never look through a window only and then gybe, guaranteed the thing you are going to hit will not be in the small view your window gives of the downwind area.
