You think a normal wing is easier to learn? Ive got little skills and need lessons but my shoulder is also paralized so this thing is much lighter on my shoulder

Thank you for the amazing review. Is the Plume a good alternative for normal wing foiling wings? If the idea is to only ride on in-land lakes with no intention of surfing waves or swell.

Great review thank you. I would add that an experienced winger will fly from the first session. Probably from the second or third attempt. I wouldn’t say it is easy because it wouldn’t be fair to the great design. It is just intuitive. I recommend for wave riding because of the relaunch simplicity versus parawing. It’s actually a minority of parawingers doing downwinds. Most of them do back-and-forth to play with the swell on a spot. For that purpose, the Plume makes a lot of sense (no tangle, easy relaunch, no water filled sail when falling). It is also a great alternative for flat water cruising with a different experience and a panoramic view. You can ride the Plume in a contemplative mode. Low end is clearly the weak point. But soon future versions enhancement, improved pumping skills, and bigger surface will give access to the sport below 15 knots. Once flying, its lightness makes it efficient. I had issue with takeoff but lulls were ok. And to be fair, it is just a V1. I recently retested a V1 swing and realized how fast gear evolved 😮 As many reported, a 5sqm Plume can also be seen as a 4sqm wing substitue. But it is much more than that!
