what board volume should be good for taxi gybes? is 110 l too small for a 83 kg rider with windsurf habits?

These are great videos! Just a one hour to head out for a first session. I couldn’t stay upwind while taxi on my knees, I think I was sitting too far forward, far in front of the foil mast, when I stood up I was fine and could turn upwind . But I’d like to get better on knees to get thru shore break. So I need to move back probably ? And maybe I was overheating the wing ?

Hi Simon, that's a 125L & I'm 85kg. For these beginner tutorials I picked a board that's 40L more than my weight as that's about what most people should be using at first.

These are not wings in the true sense, these are kites. This sport should be called hand kiting. Still cool, anyway.
Except that the word ”kite” is already used for something else.
